Best bank for the everyday man

Where do I start Ease of access, pre COVID branches open till late Open sundays good for me because I work Monday to Saturday I tend to misplace my card a lot but they can make me new one at the branch in minutes NO WAITING DAYS for it to arrive in the post Customer service is truly fantastic always above and beyond in branch or the phone Easily set up standing orders I will not bank anywhere else Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Impressed by the personal service in branch

The in bank ATM swallowed my ash withdrawal which left e financially embarrassed. The deputy manager (or whatever Metro call him) gave me an interest free loan without fuss or paperwork until my money was returned (8 days later?) by the company operating the ATM through head office. The staff are unfailingly friendly, which cannot always be easy! Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Simple, effective and no nonsense personal banking

I joined them in August 2018 and find them a very competent and helpful bank, in person their branches are friendly, smartly presented and helpful, online I use their Web Banking service (which I previously swore I would never do) and find it simple and effective, overall a good bank, with great staff and an opportunity not to be missed for simple, no-nonsense personal banking Reviewed on: 16th April 2021
