Simply The Best

Started banking here about 5 years ago and I was stunned by the courtesy and efficiency of this bank. Head and shoulders above any other I have used in the UK. They have simplified every need (except once when I needed to convert a foreign cheque and I thought it was too expensive, but hey, ONE thing to complain about in 5 years???) They give you lollypops, smiles, always great you, let you use their loos and act as if my tiny bit of business matters. They are pooch friendly - and they don't charge you to change your...change. Can you love your bank?

After having accounts with several different banks over the years and dealing with their archaic service and opening hours, I was happy to find Metro. We were "kicked out" of our last bank when it was bought by santander, who changed their dogs in the lobby policy. (I had gone in the week before without a problem.) When I asked them what the problem was, since I was a customer and had come in to pay in checks to my account with the foyer machine, I was told I had to leave. I said, "So you won't allow me to pay in checks?" No, you'll have to leave "I'll change banks" The reply was "i don't care!!" Walked out and walked into the welcoming, friendly, helpful staff at the Metro on Tottenham court road. The phone staff has always been pleasant too. Please continue to hire and train such nice people! PS. Gigi, my Crufts obedience champion thinks this is her "cookie bank". They are absolutely her favorite treats. Reviewed on: 9th April 2021

Great bank

A Bank that treats you much more than a customer

I opened my account in Metro bank back in 2017 and I have never been happier. If you don't trust me, just visit any branch of metro bank and see how kindly they treat you. MetroBank is there for its customers

Banking with MetroBank is so straightforward and easy. I was given lots of help when a company continued to take money for a cancelled subscription. It’s been simple and stress-free to freeze and quickly replace my bank card which I’m always managing to lose. I can get a text when my balance is getting low and I also appreciate having an ISA alongside my current account. The referral scheme is also good and easy to use! Impeccable Service every time.

The service given since 2010 when first account was open remains consistently high regardless of the representative providing the service. Another important trait of this bank is that its workforce is highly inclusive and diverse with balanced ethnic representation displayed throughout the corporate ladder &/or functional departments. In addition to having the best bank opening hours for its customers, thank bank also needs meritorious commendation for speed at which it provides its services which maintains a favourable footfall flow of customers entering and leaving its branches. Up to scratch
