Monese took all my money and blocked my account

Monese without any notice or explanation blocked my account and took all my money . I have not been given any explanation for why anything happened and I am now going to STARVE as I have no family and Monese took all my money. SCAM SCAM SCAM , everyone please avoid. Reviewed on: 27th January 2021

they closed my account with my money in it..after that they told me to provide another account and i did, it's been 5 months sice..every time i call customer service i have to wait more then 40 min and they just hang up..and when they respond always same answer "i can't do nothing, you have to wait". i lost more than 2k Reviewed on: 15th January 2021

Blocked account

I switched to Monese some time ago using it as my main account all went well salary paid in monthly etc. But on the 20/12/2020 suddenly without notice a suspension was put on my account leaving me with no access though out the Christmas period,dispite several emails and calls to their customer service no contact to date this is totally unacceptable I have reported this to FCA and the financial ombudsman Monese please give me my money back Reviewed on: 4th January 2021

Avoid Monese, they are thieves!!

I used my Monese account as principal since January 2020. My account was then closed with a balance of €2200 in it, without any warning nor notification. I have no money to my bills. When I call them, they keep telling me that I have to wait for the email from their complaints support. And, I sent them too many emails, without getting any answer. They keep ignoring me! Avoid them !!! They are thieves ! Certainly, they will answer to this review to tell that they don’t close any account without any valid reason. But they dit close hundreds of accounts without ANY VALID REASON. They just wait for your account to get filled with money and then they will just close your account and steal your money! But Monese, be sure that I will do everything to get my money back and AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ! I have already field complaints with the Financial Ombudsman and with FCA. Refund problem

When my account was closed I was asked for another account to which you wanted to transfer. I gave you a different bank account. After that, you made a transfer, but my second bank canceled the transfer and you did not transfer my money from you. For two months I have been writing you several times called and waited 45 minutes for your answer. Why is your customer service so bad about your customers? Account is blocked since yesterday, no message no nothing

Using Monese nearly one year now and was always very satisfied. Yesterday they blocked the account, only the app is still usable, I am not able to send or receive any money. They didn´t send any message or just nothing. Support is not answering and nobody cares about nothing. I didn´t do nothing wrong and I am very angry! If you don´t want to loose your money you should stay away from Monese at that time. Will update what happens further... Reviewed on: 3rd December 2020
