Great products and great people

Granted a mortgage later in life

Our financial advisor suggested my wife and apply for a mortgage from the Monmouthshire Building Society, even though we were in our 60s. The application was straightforward enough but what really made a difference was that we felt that a real person had assessed our application rather than just putting our details into a YES/NO algorithm! All our contacts with the MBS over the last six years, including renegotiating the mortgage every two years, has been at a 'person-to-person' level. Great service from a small, caring 'bank'.
