About this product

Monzo offer a free bank account for under 16s, with controls set by their parent or guardian.

Kids get their own neon card and can see their money in the Monzo app. Parents or Guardians can keep an eye on the account, set spending limits and schedule pocket money.

I had fraudulent activity on my son’s under 16 account card. I contacted Monzo and it was resolved in less than 10 minutes. Amazing service all while giving my son financial independence and learning how to manage his own money. Reviewed on: 7th March 2026
