About this product

Monzo offer a free bank account for under 16s, with controls set by their parent or guardian.

Kids get their own neon card and can see their money in the Monzo app. Parents or Guardians can keep an eye on the account, set spending limits and schedule pocket money.

Monzo provide an easy, seamless on boarding set up and continue to deliver an excellent product/service. Particularly impressed with the reassuring controls for the under 16 bank account which still enables a child to safely have a degree financial independence and responsibility. Amazing account for my 6 year old to learn financial...

Amazing account for my 6 year old to learn financial independence and earn pocket money. Love that you can add notes and choosing their own card colour is a nice touch. My daughter loves it and it motivates her to do jobs around the house to earn pocket money and she then enjoys using the contactless in shops to treat herself. Well done Monzo!!
