I switched to monzo and then set up an account for my children too. They love being able to create their own pots and work out where their money goes. It’s a great sense of achievement for them when they’re able to save their own pocket money into their own sections and use them as and when. Reviewed on: 9th February 2026

Boosting confidence in Kids

Financial literacy for my child

Children's Bank Account has helped my son gain financial literacy and encouraged saving for the things he wants to do. The app is simple to understand and allows people to send money to him directly for special occasions. He really loves the cartoon dog personality. Monzo also allow API connectivity so we can show his savings goals on a smart screen we have mounted on the wall to continually remind him how well he's doing. It's a shame it doesn't have it's own account number and sort code but other than that its a great tool. Reviewed on: 9th February 2026
