About this product

Monzo offer a free bank account for under 16s, with controls set by their parent or guardian.

Kids get their own neon card and can see their money in the Monzo app. Parents or Guardians can keep an eye on the account, set spending limits and schedule pocket money.

Perfect and safe intro to banking for young people

Brilliant way to introduce my daughter to banking and savings. She’s loving to see the interest adding up, and I like the control and flexibility it gives me - I don’t want her to have the physical card yet, but she can still have a proper bank account. It’s perfect! Reviewed on: 13th February 2026
