Great bank, easy to use, great customer service

Really easy to understand and use, transactions are so quick and it's made life so much easier to share bills with my partner, without opening a joint account together - perfect for when you're in a relationship and want to share the bills but don't want financial ties at such an early stage. Great, modern bank experience

I love how Monzo updates you of payments straight away, categorises your payments, allows you to add notes and tags, search easily and create savings pots. It has helped me become more mindful of my spending and habits. I was a bit unsure about moving all of my banking to Monzo from a ‘traditional bank’ however I have never looked back. There are no limitations to my banking, even though it is branchless. I would highly recommend Monzo for all of your banking needs. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Best swap

I had been recommended to swap to monzo by a friend. Firstly I used it just as a money card, so I'd transfer money from my bank account onto my monzo. Very quickly I realised how boss this bank is! So open and transparent with everything, really easy to use and the notifications help with keeping track of my money and where it is going! Never had one problem, unlike the high street banks I've used in the past. I don't think I'll ever use another bank again. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Amazing for new residents in the UK

When I first arrived in London, the traditional banks gave me such grief when trying to set up an account. They enforced appointments - which they couldn't give me until weeks after I'd arrive - and they were particularly cold in communications. After so much desperation, Monzo saved me by approving my new account in such a fantastically short time. Without a UK account, I couldn't pay my rent, get a UK sim card for my phone, even have my salary transferred to me... it was imperative I didn't wait weeks. Monzo was just amazing, makes transactions transparently traceable, payments amongst friends easy, and holiday travel care-free. Highly recommend!
