So easy to manage your money

I love that I can auto export my transactions, which allows me to make some great graphs of my financial life. I like the instant notifications, so I can be confident my card details haven’t been breached. Along with my virtual card this lets me put my card details anywhere online (which makes my life much quicker/easier) with the confidence that if my details get breached, I’ll know instantly and can delete my virtual card and make a new one (without having to get a new physical card!!) I have made everyone join!

I have encouraged so many people to join because the bill splitting is a great feature for sharing the cost of a takeaway of renting a car for a day out. I've used a few banking apps and this one is the best looking and easiest to use, and with their saving pots I have saved hundreds of pounds from my impulse spending. Reviewed on: 12th April 2021

Super easy to use with powerful features

Really nice, clean interface - the app is easy and straightforward to use. Gives me a really clear insight into where I'm spending my money each month, and features like saving pots, automatic round ups really help to save extra pennies at the end of each month! Reviewed on: 12th April 2021

Monzo gave me my confidence back

When I graduated university, I was struggling with debt. Month on month, I'd be stuck in a cycle of getting my pay check into my account, being debt free, paying my bills and then being back in debt again. With Monzo I learned to live comfortably in my own debt, using savings pots to save a little a month separate to my main balance. Eventually my savings allowed me to be prepared for big spends like car insurance or Christmas but also pay off my debts. Best Bank Ever!

Having an account with Monzo means I'm not afraid to check my balance any more. I used to dread seeing how much money was in my account, knowing that I would have overspent, or a bill I had forgotten about would have came out. I was an early adopted to Monzo (2016) and the new features that have been introduced along the way mean that when my salary comes in, it is quickly sent to the relevant money pots where it stays until the bills are due. It has automated my money management allowing me to just keep an eye on what is in my normal account, knowing that's what I am allowed to spend. It has also switched how I save. Saving is no longer something which happens at the end of the month, depending on what I have left. Instead it is taken out at the start and locked away in a savings pot where I can't get to it. Being with Monzo hasn't just made me realise how great their bank is, but also how bad the rest of banking in the UK has been for a very long time. Reviewed on: 12th April 2021
