The best app and account

I have had a monzo account for 2+ years now. It has an amazing app and excellent support. I could not go back to a traditional bank unless they were to the same standard. It makes managing my cash flow easy and helps to budget accordingly. Reviewed on: 5th February 2020

The best thing out there

My partner and I have switched our main accounts to this bank. We still have a joint account with Lloyds, but only because of all the perks on this account. Once Monzo provides similar accounts, we will switch as well. I love the fact that they are so clear and transparent with what they are trying to do as a company. That they try to provide us with as many services as possible in one app. I hope to be able to invest in their next round of investment and I am hoping they can provide us with ethical banking products in mortgages, loans and investment. Where do I even start!? Monzo has been revolutionary in so many ways! From little things like push notifications when you make a purchase (which has now been copied by many banks), to no fees using your card abroad. Their customer service is amazing, product is amazing, openness is amazing. Everything is just great! Reviewed on: 5th February 2020

Simple, faster, better service

Monzo is better in many ways than your normal bank. It's easier to open an account, you get your card faster, their app is slicker, they manage security in a much more reasonable way (no getting that token, or card reader out), and they resolve your (or their) issues much quicker. For example, last month my wife lost her wallet with a Hig =h street bank card and Monzo card in it. To get a new card in Monzo it was a click and in 48hs she had it. To get it in the high street bank, it took 5 days and it arrived my card (not hers!), then it took another week to resolve! Reviewed on: 5th February 2020

Instant payment notifications and direct debits including contactless payments make this app and account a no brainer. Budgeting tools are super useful and the fact you can now set up savings accounts with interest is a step closer to replicating the features of big banks without the fuss. The bank has been overall amazing with the service they have provided. From the moment of account creation to using the CASS they have done nothing but keep me informed every step of the way. Whenever a issue is raised or I have forgotten my pin they have been on hand to help immediately. The tools they provide are second to none to allow for budgeting and managing my money.
