Monzo has changed my (banking) life

I used to dream of ways that my bank account could help me manage my money. Sections of my account that were closed off to spending so my bills were taken care of and useful feedback to prevent me from going over my limits being at the top of them. Monzo does this and so then adds in so much other useful stuff like splitting bills, easily sending and receiving payments, and even a way to get paid early! Reviewed on: 24th January 2020

Everything you will need!

Monzo is a bank very well focused around its customers. It has helped me budget my money since I have entered my IVA where I have become much more financially stable. All of the added extras such as IFTTT support makes saving much easier being able to punish yourself for takeaways etc. Monzo has a lot more services in the works and the only bank I can truly say I trust! Easy banking!

Monzo offer a good current account. The overdraft rate could be lower but the app is good. I like to save and round ups is great. Can you do a kids account? Reviewed on: 24th January 2020

Banking for the 2020s (and beyond!)

Oh Monzo, you're so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind! Go Monzo! Monzo has truly been a breath of fresh air, and dramatic paradigm shift in the world of personal banking. In a few short years they’ve somehow embarrassed the heavyweights, many of whom have had an entire century’s lead in the market and through it billions of pounds at their disposal to fight with, and also shown up every fellow startup competitor in the ‘digital banking’ space who've simply not been able to keep up... despite their best efforts and a lorry load of VC capital burnt through. I could list all the cool features they’ve rolled out in the past year, or how intuitive the mobile app is, or talk about my positive customer service experiences... but ultimately the concept is an easy sell: Monzo provide reliable, fair, and trustworthy services for your personal banking needs (…no other bank comes close!) While the ‘traditional’ banks were busy repeatedly re-skinning their mobile applications in an effort to appear to be innovating (despite each iteration having the exact same feature set as the previous version!), Monzo were busy building a bank for today’s world — easy to use, packed with the features that actually help you manage your money day-to-day, and most importantly of all… a bank which has their customers' best interests at heart. If they make a mistake or something goes wrong, they own up to it and make it right. Monzo has grown primarily via word of mouth. There have been no real gimmicks other than the famous 'Hot Coral' coloured card (which never fails to get a comment from shopkeepers!) Folk shout about Monzo because they love how it's allowing them to keep better track of their money and want to share that experience with their friends and family. They certainly deserve all the success they’re receiving, and there’s no doubt in my mind they’re going to continue to kill it in the decade ahead! …go, go, go Monzo! Reviewed on: 24th January 2020
