Best bank I've ever had

I love the Monzo app and the current account is perfect for my needs. I love the instant notifications on spending. The speed of customer service getting back to you is brilliant. And the their "pots" system for saving money for different occasions is fantastic, I've never saved so much. I can't recommend them enough. Reviewed on: 30th January 2019

Super convenient and easy to use when it matters

Monzo showed its true worth last month while I was on holiday in Italy. I didn't change any money before i left, instead using my normal weekly budget and topping us as required. The holiday was done completely using monzo and it was a doddle. Then I got to the airport and realised I didn't have my debit card with me. Instead of being in a mad panic and worrying about it being used fraudulently, or being unavailable to me for the next week at home, I was surprisingly calm. With monzo I could instantly freeze the card while I searched for it, and when I found out where I'd left it I cancelled the card and ordered a new one in the airport. It took three taps in the app to sort it, and best of all by the time I got home it was on my doormat! I couldn't be happier with monzo as a bank. Reviewed on: 30th January 2019

Money managing

Perfect balance of the convenience of paying by card with the control of cash

Monzo is the only financial services brand I can think of where customers eulogise about it and actively encourage friends and colleagues to take it up. As we pay increasingly by card a lot of people worry about the loss of control that we have with cash - Monzo is the perfect solution to this. Reviewed on: 30th January 2019

Best thing to happen in banking since the recession.

Monzo has been a true innovator in its field and I was happy to be a beta user before the full launch. It really does show that banking, saving and managing your finances can be easy. From niche product to a great all-rounder

Started using Monzo in Feb 2018, back then as a "top up" card for going out. During the last year I've seen it growing up and fledging - now it is my main bank account and the only reason I didn't make the switch from my other banks is that I need the travel insurance and the 5% savings account they provide. But the 1% pot, the shared tabs for our home expenses, the round-ups, the budget control, the small icons for expenses.... This guy is a winner! Reviewed on: 30th January 2019

Fantasic

Love, love, love Monzo, its my only UK bank. Super simple to set up, they took what is seen to be one of the hardest things about moving to the UK and made it super simple. Customer service is quick and helpful, app is wonderful and bill splitting between friends is so helpful. I hope in the future all banks are this great! Reviewed on: 30th January 2019
