Cora terrible for the Nat West brand

I have little to add to the negative reviews of Cora, it is beyond useless. It connot understand, let alone answer, simple queries like "Where is the manage my card option in the Nat West app". Surely, when poor technology like this frustrates customers it can only be a matter of time before Nat West implements genuinely useful AI based on an existing knowledge base. Needless to say, Nat West needs to continue to invest in customer service humans at a decent level. Reviewed on: 30th August 2024

Useless

Very poor. Illogical call paths, doesn’t understand, generates frustration and annoyance. I avoid Cora now as it puts my blood pressure up. Reviewed on: 19th January 2023

Irritating and not very helpful

Cora is so unable to help with a banking problem, I dread seeing her name appear on the screen, I just know I'm not going to get anywhere. Reviewed on: 19th January 2023

Not good takes to long

The call center could not answer my question and told me to use cora. So slow as 1. It took ages to get through security. The person didn't understand my question and repeated same answer then out me through to another department who told me the account didn't exist when I was looking at it. Asked for a transcript and told to do it myself. I followed instructions didn't get a copy and call dropped. Reviewed on: 2nd December 2022

Dreadful

If you have anything other than a very basic simple question that can be linked to a tick box, Cora is absolutely useless. Against my better judgment, I tried it again today to sort out an overpayment. I thought I had got somewhere when it offered to repay my funds if I could just confirm my account and sort code number I've been trying to do that ever since, but keep coming up aginst Cora asking me what I think of its service.......... My only option is to physically go to the bank tomorrow which is ridiculous as this is such a simple request. Digital assistant? I think not. Reviewed on: 30th October 2022

Another attempt to avoid doing it properly

NatWest don't want to speak to you. Cora is another way for them to offer a feeble half measure. Cora can only deal with very basic issues. When it fails, it passes you to a customer team member who can offer a greater range of responses but are barely any more capable of dealing with a complaint. That said, when I eventually spoke to a human at NatWest, they weren't much help either. They seem to be exclusively staffed by people who don't know anything. Reviewed on: 15th September 2022

Soul destroying

For the love of god what are these bafoons being paid for, somebody somewhere is laughing and it’s certainly not the poor soul that has to use Cora to try and sort their issues out. Please contact me I’m literally ready to give you my honest feedback about this shocking so called “service”. Unless of course this whole abomination is being run by slugs in which case they can’t use telephones or even speak, which actually figures!!!! Reviewed on: 11th June 2022

Website a mess. Can't contact Cora

They need to keep their website as simple as possible. Less is more. Instructions say log in to online banking and click "Cahat Now". Chat Now does not appear in online banking. Reviewed on: 7th June 2022
