Good bank overall, very few niggles. Reliable and decent.

No real problems, which is all you really want from a bank. Everything works well, but the website could be better (couldn't they all?). Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

Friendly and efficient

Going into the branch is how banks used to be, the same staff and personal customer service. Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

Having a basic bank account with natwest is sufficient. They are a helpful bank if you ring them up and they don't force you to engage with the telephone banking or the card reader things. The branches have been recently done up which makes them look nice. They replaced my battered card with a new one without qualms and did not force me to use the machines when I wanted to be dealt with by a person. Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

Customer service forget it

Several times we have felt very let down by Natwest customer service but the last time a short while ago has completely put us over the top my husband (who has MS) was trying to talk to customer service about a banking problem and he was struggling to remember his date of birth and our home phone number, so he asked the lady to hold on , he started to ask me to help him and from the other side of the room I could hear her shouting at him telling him he couldn't speak to me whilst he was on the phone to them. This completely got him into a right state, I took the phone from my husband and I told her to stop shouting she then informed me that she was terminating the call because I had told my husband his date of birth, I tried to explain he has MS which has left him with a very poor memory, but I assure you that this is true she told me that he shouldn't do phone banking if he couldn't answer simple questions. I was absolutely mortified and we are now in the process of changing banks Reviewed on: 17th February 2016

Friendly Staff

Always friendly staff each time you visit, Bank has been improved inside and is not modern and airy. Self serve also available if preferred. Account a little low on interest, but aren't they all!! Reviewed on: 17th February 2016

Good notification and easy banking

I have had a natwest bank account since going to uni and getting a rather generous interest free overdraft. I now have paid it off and have a current account with them. I like that I can access internet banking on my mobile with their app and on the pc. On the phone the advisers are always pleasant and helpful. I like that if I make a payment I recieve a text to confirm this, and I also get a text advising when I have gone overdrawn which is really helpful- as long as I put some money in before 3pm I dont get charged. I have also signed up for texts when my account goes under a certain amount so I know to be careful Reviewed on: 17th February 2016

I went into branch 5 minutes before they closed on a Saturday afternoon to cash in over £100 of change. Everyone was incredibly helpful and pleasant - can't praise them enough :) Reviewed on: 16th February 2016
