The NatWest Reward Account allows you to earn rewards from direct debits and spending at NatWest’s partner retailers.

Rewards can be exchanged for eGift cards or cashback, or you can choose to donate them to charity. This current account has a low monthly fee and gives account holders access to NatWest’s mobile banking app.

Methods not suitable for modern times

Still require card readers for transactions over a certain amount- unable to use mobile app to authorise/create these payments , meaning that you need to use a desktop browser. Not had this experience with other banks. Flakey chat support too, and you often get conflicting messages from different reps. Phone support is pretty good though, no issues with that. I really love this account, it gives you rewards just paying your bills, I only switched a few months ago and my rewards have built up to £25, which you can just leave to save or use on great offers, The app is fantastic and answers most questions and it’s easy to contact them. I moved from the co-op to this account so it has been a huge change but I and really enjoying this account. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

I earn money for my direct debits and have a great overdraft limit. I’ve used many banks previously, and not one came close to the exception service I receive from NatWest. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

Gives free money every month and the app is very good

I switched over from HSBC and I had a wonderful experience with Natwest. Most of the services offered by them are hasstle free and self explanatory. Also, some of the services such as funancial health check is benefitial especially during covid times Reviewed on: 2nd April 2021
