The NatWest Reward Platinum Account is available for existing NatWest current account holders. The account charges a monthly fee but comes with a range of benefits. Account holders can access mobile phone insurance, family travel insurance and breakdown cover, as well as fee-free abroad purchases. Customers can also earn rewards that can be redeemed as cash, gift cards or e-codes with the bank’s range of retail partners.

Travel insurance payout

I had to spend 500 Euro in a local clinic in Fuerteventura when I had a sickness bug for rehydration and antisickness medication. I called NatWest and as soon as I got home submitted receipts. I was reimbursed within 10 days. Reviewed on: 18th July 2018

Great Package, Great Extras

I currently have the Natwest Platinum Reward account. Now many people don't like these accounts as they have a paid for feature, in this case that is £19 per month, total yearly cost is £228. I love this account, partnered with my Reward Credit Card, as just in cashback rewards I made £250 last year, so the account paid for itself. Then as a Londoner the additional bonus extras of a yearly Tastecard and National Trust vouchers meant I've saved over £100 on restaurants/meal out with friends, and then £60 on National Trust visits. Meaning I've gained £410 with this account and card last year. Then bring into it the worldwide travel insurance, national car breakdown and mobile phone insurance. This package is great and I've never had a bad customer service with Natwest either! Reviewed on: 4th April 2018

Great packaged account

The benefits that come with this account fit my needs. Last year when I lost my phone the insurance replaced it within 48 hours. I also get peace of mind from travel insurance when I go abroad. I also earn rewards on direct debits and contactless payments. Great packaged account for a reasonable fee! Reviewed on: 10th February 2018
