Simply amazing team

Such a helpful team, who still make decisions at a branch level. I’ve moved three times and had my mortgage with them every time. Cheapest Rates are not always best, but you’ll get the highest level of customer service. When we needed help during Covid-19 it was sorted within 24 hours. Reviewed on: 19th May 2020

Change of mortgage product

Phoned and spoke with Eve who was soooo helpful, I have no clue about mortgages but she guided me through in 30 minutes and saved me about £50 a month, what’s not to like. :) Reviewed on: 11th May 2020

Leaving you

I have recently taken up a great offer from my bank that unfortunately could not be matched by Newbury. I just want to say that Newbury Building society have always been helpful and supportive whenever I have spoken to anyone about my mortgage. Great service, polite and helpful. Expertise in exceptionally difficult circumstances

Our product was coming to an end and a very efficient and effective telephone conversation lined up a new product and within 6 hours and exchanges of emails and we were on a new product. Reviewed on: 14th April 2020

Great experience but a massive early repayment penalty

Efficient and friendly service from the call staff. Good communication and annual summary of mortgage. Nice welcome pack upon completion and moving into the property. One of a few lenders who were able to lend with a 10% deposit at that time but the flip side of that was a fairly hefty interest rate and punishing early repayment penalty. Very thorough but happy with service

The mortgage application was a very thorough process and Newbury checked our information in detail. To me this was good as shows they are a responsible lender. As our new build property was delayed we were able to extend or mortgage offer, which was great Reviewed on: 12th April 2020
