32 years of support

Excellent

From beginning to end NBS staff were extremely professional, efficient, friendly and couldn’t have done more to help us at a stressful time in our lives. New Mortgage

The process was all done electronically and able to accommodate our exchange date. Relatively quick responses to emails. There was a little issue with asking us for a declaration which we had already signed and returned, but this was rectified quickly to avoid duplication and delay in our exchange. Good rates in the current financial climate. Reviewed on: 9th June 2023

Try Newbury Building Society

A Helpful and resourceful Financial Advisor contacted Newbury for me. All processes were followed quickly and efficiently by Newbury. Completion was in weeks rather than months. Paperwork / requirements could be explained better through personal contact rather than trolling through all the nitty grity and extensive paperwork rather than having to request explantion. Was surprised I had to follow-up whether completion had taken place as expected. I had to ring in and received verbal confirmation. I have yet to receive something in writing. Generally a very easy process

Good communication and all transferred smoothly. The only thing that could be better was the form for witnessing signatures - not clear where each person was to sign and not enough room to write all the required info e.g address etc. Perhaps clear boxes for each person and bigger boxes to fit it all in. Good interest rate deal, prompt service, friendly helpful staff.

The team at Newbury were very helpful and friendly. My purchase became quite complicated in the last few days with a possibility it would fall through or delay. Newbury were flexible and were able to make funds available at short notice even though the request had been recently cancelled. Couldn't have asked for more. A nice little touch was a parcel through the post on the day after my move with a mini hamper of tea, coffee and biscuits. Thank you Newbury! Reviewed on: 31st May 2023
