Small but mighty

As I used a help to buy scheme, the turn around to get my house had to be quick for valuation reasons. Newbury building society were experienced in this, could offer me the appropriate mortgage that a lot of places wouldn’t for a part ownership and turned it around very quickly with little hassle on my part. They feel more personable and care more than a giant company. So happy to be with them. Reviewed on: 8th March 2021

Outstanding Mortgage Service

I am a First time buyer I LOVE YOU GUYS Hannah & Jac (underwriters)

I applied with newbury after being rejected from the high Street lenders I realised the big high Street lenders are too naive and careless with their customers they have alot of applications that's why they don't care about new customers. I think came here and read some goo reviews and applied with NEWBURY BUILDING SOCIETY and I can tell you that these people here are genuine and the feedback they have here is genuine GUYS PLEASE TAKE MY WORD APPLY WITH NEWBURY BUILDING SOCIETY and be clear in your application they are fast and very very responsive I got my offer in ONE Day the underwriters were so so good I LOVE YOU GUYS I wish I could do something for you too I am very pleased with Hannah & Jac . Amazing service - truly above and beyond

Newbury dealt with quite a unique situation in an incredible manor. I am an expat living in Belgium and was able to get offered a good rate and was impressed with the responsiveness at every step of the process. The entire service from beginning to end was exceptional. I would like to call a special shout out to Ella Bright who managed my case and was a delight to work with. Mortgage application

Recently applied for a new mortgage with Newbury BS. Everybody I have dealt with has been extremely helpful. It was a quick and easy process and when I had to get my offer extended due to new build delays this was organised easily without issue. Very impressed with the service! Efficient, Professional, Helpful.

Newbury were very efficient, our mortgage broker had approached them for a mortgage, we had struggled to meet certain criteria of other lenders. Newbury eased any concerns we may have. They were very quick in personally writing to us to confirm they had accepted and booked in a valuation, no more than a week after accepting our application. Any emails I sent back to the underwriter, Nathan Bryan, he would reply back to me efficiently. Reviewed on: 26th February 2021

Excellent Customer Service & Friendly People

When you think about customer service, you think about the people that you interact with. At every stage of our mortgage application, we were met with friendly, knowledgeable people who were supportive, reliable and efficient. They did what they said they were going to do, they set expectations that were always accurate (despite being in a pandemic). That’s my kind of excellent customer service!
