Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Transfer of Money between accounts

I transferred money from an Existing Member’s Account to an ISA. An appointment was made and kept and all done with little fuss. Reviewed on: 7th April 2024

Super easy setup and great customer support

Newbury Building Society just makes it so easy to open a new account if you already have one with them. In addition, if you make a mistake in your application, they will helpfully alert you with an email! As a bonus the saving account interest rates are fab! Reviewed on: 7th April 2024

Abingdon branch staff

As I deal regularly with your Abingdon branch, I know the staff, and they are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. On this occasion they fitted me in without an appointment to open a new ISA within the tax year. Reviewed on: 6th April 2024

Opening a new ISA
