Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Refreshing experience

Called in on spec with a query on opening an account. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Stacy was available to help us even though we had not made an appointment and shortly after we were new signed up members of the NBS. Reviewed on: 26th April 2023

great rates friendly service

Very good experience

Always found NBS to be a very pleasant place to visit it always seems to be calm and welcoming. My 1 hour appointment was very professionally handled and I felt very well informed. Certainly far more so than in some of the major High Street Banks. Reviewed on: 24th April 2023

Opened a savings account

Opened a savings account today . Justine was fabulous, she explained all my options very clearly, she gave me some great advice.and made me feel like a welcomed customer which can be very rare these days. Easy, friendly and effective!

Opened a new ISA in branch and the lady serving me was very efficient and all was explained and done easily. With a good interest rate too why would i go anywhere else? Reviewed on: 21st April 2023

Super pleased and uplifted by the service I received!

If it is possible to enjoy an appointment to open a savings account, I definitely did. Sarah Jones who I spoke to was so friendly, engaging and really helpful. I came out feeling like I had made absolutely the right choice and that I understood how my savings were going to work. All information was clear and well-advised.
