Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Opening an ISA For Tax Free Interest

The interest on my savings accounts is approaching £1000.00 per annum. Needed to move some savings out of this bracket, hence the ISA. Tracy talked me through very professionally and the end result very positive. Reviewed on: 10th February 2023

Fair rates plus excellent customer service

The Newbury offers fair interest rates on its savings products, as well as a good choice of fifferent types of account. In my experience its customer service is a strong point: I've never been less than very satisfied by that aspect of its services. Reviewed on: 10th February 2023

Excellent Service

I applied for an eay acess ISa and was dealt with by Tracey Jones at Customer Service. She took me through to a private office, where she managed my request most efficiently and with good humour. Competative and efficient but with a friendly and community spirit

Newbury Building Society offers a range of saving products offering competative rates and shortly after moving to Newbury in 2013 I opened their Welcome to Newbury Account. They are welcoming and having attained the maximum saving in the "Welcome" account I opened their "Existing Member Account which again is at competive rate. The staff are friendly, efficient and the Society puts the local community at the forefront of it's buisness. Excellent find, so glad we moved from West London to Newbury.
