Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

The new, revamped space is nice and bright and welcoming but there is no obvious place to wait, there is a table and chairs but then you lose your place in the queue, 3 people queuing when I was waiting. Electric doors keep opening and closing, a sitting down ticket system would be useful. Reviewed on: 31st January 2023
