Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Friendly and helpful advice

Reviewed my savings with a member of the team and opened another account. Delighted with the Charity Saver which I had previously not considered. Now through the Newbury, my savings are helping raise funds for Alzheimer’s. Such a good idea. The staff member was very friendly and knowledgeable. Reviewed on: 20th January 2023

Good Service

Very welcoming on a Monday morning, with friendly and cheerful staff. I am a new member to the society and they very thoroughly took me through the process of opening a new account. Nothing was too much trouble. It's always nice to know that you can have a face-to-face conversation at the branch given that so much is now down to technology and being online. Very Helpful Assistance

Having just opened two accounts with Newbury I had several queries. The lady (I believe it was Gemma) helped me over the telephone and then followed up with a message advising everything had been completed as per my instructions. Very happy with the service. Reviewed on: 20th January 2023

Successful opening

Booked appointment a few days earlier, completed application, paid initial deposit, left to continue my day. Passbook arrived a few days later with account number, etc. Set up online access and all done! Quick with no hassles. Reviewed on: 17th January 2023
