Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Hungerford Appointment

My Wife and I had an appointment to open an ISA with Daisy in the Hungerford Branch. One of the best appointments I've had in regards to finance, so welcoming and knowledgeable, explained the accounts in thorough detail. Daisy made us feel very reassured to deposit our funds in the Newbury Society and we look forward to doing more business with them. Reviewed on: 13th December 2022

A Breath of Fresh Air

Opening a new savings account with the Newbury Building Society has been a very pleasant relief from the impersonal "big bank" style of service of the major financial institutions. The whole experience was one of caring and relaxed competence, with a "family feel" style of service. I was made to feel very welcome and I am very pleased to have joined.
