Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Welcoming from the start

Although we already have an account with Newbury Building Society, we wished to open a further savings account with our daughter. From the moment we walked into the office we felt welcomed. We had already done the basics over the phone, and had the same inclusive experience. We were not rushed, and every process was clearly explained. Having recently tried to open the account elsewhere, and receiving a very indifferent response, this experience was very welcome. Reviewed on: 19th August 2022

Opening a new account

Hazel Parker at Newbury branch was very polite, clear and made sure that understood the benefits of each of the accounts that I could choose. I opened an Existing Member account and will next open a Senior Saver one. Reviewed on: 12th August 2022

Excellent service!

We had a hassle free service from booking to opening the account. The lady on reception (apologies I didn’t get her name) is so welcoming and very helpful. Courtney that helped us open the account was very thorough and got the right product for my daughter and included her in the conversation which she loved! Thank you. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Newbury Building Society Branch Review

During my hour consultation I saw a school boy and a disabled couple enjoy prompt and friendly service. People who want to save, ask a trusted friend - never trust online. Time better spent on local press. Reviewed on: 1st August 2022
