Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

no pressure

walked in of the street to set up an ISA, staff were welcoming efficient, and there was no trying to sell me additional accounts, all done in around 20 minutes, and building society book arrived the next day in the post. New ISA

Although I have been a Newbury member for many years, the lunatic government rules mean that opening a new account is. more complicated than it needs to be. The staff at Alton were more than helpful, as always. I was dealt with efficiently and with courteously Thank you, Newbury. Reviewed on: 8th April 2022
