Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Great old fashioned personal service

I came to the Winchester branch to open a further account. The counter ladies were very professional, but not officious, warm and relaxed. They opened my account and said my passbook would be posted to me, I received it very quickly especially given the Christmas post. Seamless Account Opening

So easy to open my existing customer savings account on-line. Had to wait a year to get it though for the higher interest rate on up to £2k. Reviewed on: 24th December 2021

Poor delivery

Why does it take 3 days to successfully open an account online, when you are already an existing customer? Definite room for improvement. No apology received either. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2021
