Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Friendly and courteous staff

Whenever I visit the Hungerford branch everybody is so cheerful and helpful . Pauline was very helpful when I wanted to open another account and didn't realise I should have made an appointment - excellent service as I have been refused such a transaction elsewhere when I hadn't pre booked . Local pays

I've always used comparison sites to get good rates it was only when I read the small print did I realise I could be missing a good deal. Now I check Newbury first Reviewed on: 1st December 2021

I highly recommend Newbury Building Society in Didcot

A lovely helpful lady called Samantha helped me with my Newbury Building Society savings account and also to help me set up my 4 grandchildren's accounts for them. She made me feel very welcome and spent a great deal of time explaining in detail to me . She made my experience a really good one and I recommend Samantha who apparently usually works from Abingdon branch. Newbury Building Society in Didcot is very convenient and accessible for me to use. A lovely friendly helpful place. I highly recommend. Reviewed on: 29th November 2021
