Avoid at all costs. I work in insurance and can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever come across. They couldn't add my daughter so I had to cancel the policy. No refund even though we paid all up front and only 5 months in. No way to contact them. Live chat conveniently cuts off if you want to cancel. Customer service staff who are completely incapable of answering any questions, listening, or providing any information that they are legally obligated to provide. Just send you back to live chat.. disgusting. NEVER USING AGAIN Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

PRAY YOU NEVER HAVE TO CLAIM. I've never known a more devious insurer. Today i received "Notice of Legal Proceedings" From One Call Claims, they handle claims for One Call Insurance. We were stationary waiting to join a roundabout when the car behind shunted us, but no worries One Call told me on 4/5/23 that the drivers insurer accepted full liability, as expected. But today 10/1/24 One Call have changed the narrative and tell me "liability has not reached an amicable agreement" My educated guess, knowing how One Call are, is that they've heavily loaded the bill to the 3rd party insurers and so it is likely to go to District Court. IGNORE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS they are from people who were not claiming, just needing help with minor issues. READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS and walk away Reviewed on: 11th January 2024

Helpful customer service but portal needs some work

Due for renewal and wanted to discuss as it had gone up considerably. Got ir2 customer service person after about a 10 minute wait who was very helpful and managed to get my quote down by going throught the options with me. Only really negative is that for some reason they had taken the details including renewal price off the portal over 5 days before renewal so couldn't see all the added extras without contacting them which is just causing longer customer service wait times. Onecallinsurance, Too all the people out there please do not go with this insurance company as I have had the worst experience with them, I bought home insurance with this company & I had a problem with something in my property, So tried to open a case tried calling them & no answer tried live chat also no answer, Then decided to cancel my policy so still no answer then cancelled my direct debit then I get a letter to pay cancellation charge of £76.57p, So happy I have cancelled this policy & I don’t understand how this company can get 5 star rating. They took £50 off when I cancelled after waiting 3.5 hours for a chat - no telephone contact available. £400 for renewal but when documents came through (email) dates were wrong so hence I needed contact - so p'd off after long wait I told them just to cancel - coincidence or what the chat timed out - within 2 minutes I received an email telling me in capital letters that "YOUR POLICY HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED". Went back on chat & got connected an hour later and managed to cancel. Are now in process of enquiry as to how they justify £50 cancellation/admin fee Reviewed on: 6th January 2024

Don't take my word for it - reads Trust Pilot reviews score of 1.3 84% dissatisfaction. Fined hundred of thousand sof pounds by FCA in 2018. Impossible to contact even through suggested methods. Auto-renewal and money taken from accounts even after policies ended. Reviewed on: 30th December 2023
