Seller protection is the Gold Standard

I sold an expensive watch on Ebay to a US buyer. Two weeks later the owner of the PayPal account said she had not authorised the payment. PayPal carried out and investigation. I provided all the details I could. They found in the account holder's favour but I did not have to cover the refund as the PayPal seller protection covered me. I was much relieved and grateful as it was around £700. Reviewed on: 5th May 2026
