PayPal is an outstanding credit service!

PayPal is an outstanding credit service, as someone who has not the familial access of credit, loans, or guarantorship PayPal credit alongside its three instalment payment plan options have been really quite transformative. It’s meant that I’ve been able to travel to the US, book hotels, transport that for somebody who is self-employed would otherwise be infeasible.cannot recommend the service enough! Paypal is great for secure and seamless shopping experiences. I often use paypal for most online shopping especially if its an unknown web link or an international online store. I trust that paypal will be able to verify better than traditional or digital banks and that my money is protected. I also use paypal for sending and receiving money abroad. Paypal could improve services by (1) offering higher credit limits for those that have good credit history and often use the app, (2) Improving the sending and requesting money ux, I often find it difficult to add a new contact for payment on paypal, at times I have used alternatives like western union because I couldn't add new payment details - it only allows me to select from phone contact list (3) having a proper rewards/points scheme would make me a loyal customer to use further services available on Paypal - not refer a friend for £10. I also think paypal could be so much more if they focus on their core strenghts and innovate for better ux and customer loyalty. Reviewed on: 26th May 2025

Ok as long as you don’t need to speak to somebody. I requested a credit limit increase and asked to speak to a customer service agent. The person I spoke to couldn’t assist me and I’m not even sure he understood what I actually wanted. I struggled to understand him and by the end of the call I couldn’t say for sure my request had been acknowledged. Needs improvement Reviewed on: 26th May 2025
