PayPal Credit works well for me

I regularly use PayPal credit to make small purchases online. It's quick, easy, and helps me to increase my credit score. There have been a couple of times when I've missed a payment because I assumed a direct debit was set up, so I wonder if it could be a default to take a minimum payment from the connected bank if there is an immediate deadline. Overall though the service is great and when I've needed to contact customer service it's been easy to speak to a human on the phone and they've always solved my issue. Reviewed on: 7th April 2026

Safe and secure shopping

PayPal is very convenient for buying things online safely and securely. PayPal Here was incredibly useful for more when I worked as an independent trader too. PayPal Credit has been amazing for helping me keep on top of my finances and I am glad to see that they are expanding out into physical stores more too with the PayPal Credit card. My go-to payment service

I have used PayPal for over 20 years now for secure payments at retailers, or between friends and family. PayPal Credit has been absolutely fantastic, offering numerous flexible ways to pay that suit me at the time. 0% over a shorter period, 0% credit on longer term payment plans with approved retailers, pay-in-3 - I can't think of another widely accessible payment option that offers such accesible and flexible payment options.
