Personally, I think its great.

It has helped out majorly when ive needed to split a cost over 3 months and interest free as well. I have recommended PayPal often to family and friends because of this feature. Ive never missed a payment date as its automatic like a DD, and I like that I can also pay off a monthly amount earlier or the full amount if I choose.
