Perfect Pet made understanding insurance easy!

At first I found looking for pet insurance very confusing. There were so many to choose from and I didn't understand most of the jargon. I was looking for cover for my dachsund, so that any future issues she may have could be covered. I had a dachshund as a child who was not insured and she had to be put down because we could not afford the surgery! I did not want this to happen to my current dachshund! I found perfect pet through compare the market. I was very pleased they offered such a good deal and decided to go with them as they made understanding the details so easy. Thank you! Awful company with no morals

Avoid this company at all costs! We lost our beautiful German shepherd very suddenly to cancer and perfect pets did everything they could to pay as little as possible towards our vet fees. As an example they have a cap of £12 on blood work, £12 when you have an elite extra policy is insane?! Go with animal friends instead. They pay out with no fuss. Perfect pets are just crooks. Avoid at all vosts

My.puppy had a seizure and was hospitalised by my vets.she was on drip and had various blood tests. She spent the day at my vets for observations. To cit a long story short we paid our vet bill of £775.00 and subsequently made a claim with our insurers..perfect pet. We received a payment 4 weeks later of £276.00 stating on the remittance tests we could have got cheaper treatment. I am absolutely fuming as l have no control what my vet charges and have cancelled this policy....please please do not use this company....they are just rip off merchants looking gor any excuse not to pay.... there is no way they've achieved a 5star recommendation and l would have given them a minus star if l voild...avoid at all costs!! AVOID these thieves

We adopted a Westie from the Dogs Trust and took out insurance with Perfect Pets paying a year up front. 3 months after he sustained an injury and was limping, he was diagnosed with a crucial ligament and needed surgery costing £4,000. Obviously we went ahead expecting this company to pay up but they refused saying it was a previous injury. Even though the Vet who examined him at the Dog's Trust wrote a letter confirming there was no injury before we adopted him, this company refused to pay! Shocking

AVOID AVOID AVOID It would appear that your insurance is not only unfit for purpose but unfair. You take money from customers but find any and every excuse not to honour a claim. Any non routine vet visit is classed as a pre existing condition. Reviewed on: 20th December 2022

Do not use
