Avoid like the plague!

I wish I had known about this website before I applied for this card. If I had I would never have applied. From beginning to end, it has been a nightmare. I did a bank transfer on 11/2/17. As of today (27/2/17) my money has still not been credited to my account. I phoned Customer Services and was advised that the money was in my account and that if I went to an ATM I could check my balance. I would do this is only I could obtain a pin number! Their website is atrocious. I had problems activating my card, problems loading money, problems getting a pin number and now problems with my cash not showing on my account. I have now written a formal letter of complaint requesting that they close my account and refund the balance to me. I have advised that if they do not I will report them to the Financial Ombudsman. I have also threatened to write to the Mail on Sunday which has a journalist who investigates financial problems such as this. Altogether this has been a nightmare experience. Atrocious web management & IT glitches

This was supposed to be a straightforward and a simple system. Pay money it - see it arrive in the account, make payment, see the transaction... and so on. For SEVERAL weeks now it has NOT been possible to see the transactions - Repeated emails and complaints have made no difference. Why can they not fix this simple glitch?? Why is this important? Because I am allowing a young person to manage their funds and keeping an eye of their expenditure.... After all that is what this card is for - Is it not? Reviewed on: 23rd February 2017

Great prepaid card

Pockit is a great prepaid MasterCard with low fees, no dormancy charges and generous Cashback at many stores such as Halfords, M&S, ToysRus, B&Q, Zizzi, etc. Their new cards now also have contactless functionality. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

excellent payment system

I put money on my Pockit card by bank transfer so no fees with pockit whatsoever. Money going on card can be a little slow at times but usually within a day. No problems using it and if it does get cloned the money on the card is all that can be taken. If you lose the card you can go on line and block it straight away then if you find it again you can log in and unblock it no problems. It is a mastercard so can be used virtually anywhere thus I don't use my bank debit card just this one. No big bills just load it and pay as you go. They're happy to take your money but make it difficult to spend it.

I should have known it seemed too good to be true.. Shiny website and promises of ease of use.. Very easy to get one and very easy to pay money onto. When it comes to spending the money it only works half of the time and generally only for small transactions. To be honest after having it for two weeks I've had about a 50% success rate getting it to work which has left me in a jam more than once suffering the embarassment of being unable to pay for something. Upon contacting their customer support who take about 3 days to reply over email and have a phone line that hapilly informs you that after waiting 20 minutes you will be cut off and should call again they told me the problems are because my account is limited.. I am looking at sorting this out with them but they wouldn't give reasons and gave no indication of this before I loaded my hard earned money onto it and were more than happy to send me a card and allow me to pay in.. The first I knew of these "limits" was when the card was declined leaving me embarassed and having to ask friends to help. I would avoid this card.. It sounds too good to be true and it is. Stole £2000!!! Reported to Auction Fraud.

I loaded £2,000 2 weeks ago and thye havent loaded my money to my card or account, and wont reply back to emails. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Reviewed on: 10th January 2017

Pockit stole my money

Having loaded my card with the only money I had for xmas shopping Pockit then debited my account for almost the full amount loaded. No explanation. They just dismissed my complaint as if I were dirt on their shoe. They cannot be trusted to keep your funds safe. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2016

not worth having, hidden fees , takes long time to load...

they charge you fees and you never see them in your statement, takes long time to lead via bank transfer, I just simply don't trust them and their exchange rates are really bad when I use it abroad. Reviewed on: 25th November 2016
