the worst company i've ever had to deal with. been stranded currently for 19 hours with no end in sight. they didn't care that my... the worst company i've ever had to deal with. been stranded currently for 19 hours with no end in sight. they didn't care that my son has asthma and the cold has caused him to have an attack. had 8 calls with them (usually after spending 30 mins on hold), and everything they've said on all 8 calls has turned out to be a lie. what's on the website under my 'help' is also innaccurate - i'm pretty sure they're not arriving 3 hours ago. a few of them have also been extremely rude over the phone. i'm not the type to usually leave reviews, but this whole experience has been a nightmare. oh and they're blaming the weather but it's just a bit of light rain! i've got 10 months of this membership left but i'm about to sign up for the AA instead. Had to ring bk and wait and wait go through to a nice lady who said there system was down. Which is annoying as it pointed you to the we'd site only which didn't work! Booked my car in told that one of two things could happen either they send out a local tyre guy charging 3 times the value of the tyre or they tow me. I said don't you change tyres so wasn't hopeful. Gets a phone call 30 mins later l can send a guy with a tyre at a cost of just under 200 now or you can wait till 9.30pm I'm a disabled lady can't wall far and my car was in a secluded spot and l felt vunrable with all the stress my asthma kicked off and l was in a lot of pain as l was very cold. My phone battery was dying after trying for nearly an hour to get through. I'vI'had an update its now 9.40 till 11pm thats priority from 4.30pm Ive come across a forum on Facebook and the comments of customers experiance are utterly appalling! At the moment I am waiting for 3 and a half hours, a contractor recovery truck was supposed to arrive 45 minutes ago and I have been told that I need to wait for another 2 hours. I had taken out insurance with RAC Online - believing that RAC was a reputable company - how wrong was I. I had the policy... I had taken out insurance with RAC Online - believing that RAC was a reputable company - how wrong was I. I had the policy for around 5 months when I had to change my vehicle, only to be told that I couldn't do that. I only had two options, get a new quote for another years insurance or cancel - due to the quote being ridiculously expensive i.e. 3 times what I was quoted from price comparison website - I had no option but to cancel - fine, it is what it is. The kicker though is that I entered the policy with 15 years NCD but received only 9 years back due to the fact that their system can only handle single digits (seriously in this day and age), I've been onto customer service, virtual assistants and emailing only to be told they won't honour my NCD because I've cancelled my policy - when else would you need proof of no claims. Absolutely appalling company and in all my years of getting car insurance I had never dealt with such shocking service. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs. Read more Read less
