Over the years

Over the years my grandparents, parents, my wife and I and our son have saved with the Saffron building society and my wife and l also had our mortgage here, we have always found their rates to be very competitive and have never considered to going anywhere else as they have always been honest and given us genuine advice. Excellent customer service, a good range of products

Although I have never visited a Saffron Building Society Branch, I have dealt with them online and by phone. Excellent customer service, a good range of products with competitive rates. I have held Cash ISAs with them for several years and also a regular savers account which although restricted to just £50 per month pays a good rate and it's rather nice every 12 months to have built up a small pot of money which I had almost forgotten about. On the High Street

Saffron have the advantage of having a branch in the High Street when all other banks have moved out. In the branch are friendly staff who can provide face-to-face advice. This is very welcome and so much better than other, now non-existent, banks. Reviewed on: 27th January 2026
