Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

The Human Touch Feels Good

Oh the relief of phoning up with a question and finding that you are able to talk to a human being. Saga provides a great telephone service. You speak to an intelligent human being who listens to your question and answers it. A one-step solution! Unlike the dreaded AI chat options or FAQs etc where so often you can't find the information needed or your problem doesn't fit neatly into one of the "typical" issues.
