Saga offer three levels of car insurance for over 50s – Saga Standard, Saga Select and Saga Plus.

All policies have an uninsured driver promise protecting your no claims discount and no excess to pay if you're hit by an uninsured driver. Depending on the policy, there are extras you can add on to the policy to provide more protection.

The Human Touch Feels Good

Oh the relief of phoning up with a question and finding that you are able to talk to a human being. Saga provides a great telephone service. You speak to an intelligent human being who listens to your question and answers it. A one-step solution! Unlike the dreaded AI chat options or FAQs etc where so often you can't find the information needed or your problem doesn't fit neatly into one of the "typical" issues. First class service! Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable customer service advisors. None are 'pushy' and all take time to explain everything. I've used Saga for a few years now, and I'm a committed customer. It's really good to know the head office is in Folkestone Kent - (great place to live, I know it well). Carry on as you are Saga! I switched to Saga's car insurance as it offered me the same cover as other companies, better road side assistance and for a much lower premium. I have had to call roadside assistance on one occasion and my problem was resolved promptly by a polite, pleasant and patient assistant. I don't think I ever need to look elsewhere to insure my car.
