Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Great place for any insurance

Great place for any insurance you require. Their claims procedure should you find yourself needing it it quick and simple. Their quotes are quick and very very competitive. I have renewed 3 yrs on the go because they couldn't be beaten. Plus a discount if you take another insurance out. Plus they are always willing to look at your quote each year and see if they can reduce it. Hopefully next renewal will be the 4th year. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Lovely staff

Rang saga for a new car insurance quote. I was assisted by a ver well spoken, extremely polite gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble. No question unanswered. He remained very professional but friendly. He provided a fair quote, then gave me options regarding the three year policy. Again he took his time to answer all my questions and queries. Whilst the annual payment may not be the cheapest, neither was it the most expensive, but the customer service was exceptional Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Refreshingly different.

Saga has rethought the traditionally dull, staid and boring insurance model, and reconfigured it, into something interesting, often fun, and considerably less heavy. I actually now look forward to renewing my insurance policy! Well done Saga. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Priced reasonably for full cover

Normally I will shop around each year but SAGA saves me the trouble these days. Renewals are at very competitive rates and automatic if you accept the new price. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021
