Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Excellent service from staff who have time to listen to requests and changes.

When I changed my car for a more modern version, I rang up Saga and spoke to a staff member. She asked me simple questions, I gave simple answers, and the transfer was completed immediately. It could not have been simpler. I trust Saga and I never have any problems in dealing with them on the phone despite getting deafer each day. Reviewed on: 12th September 2020

Fast, efficient, reliable service

Been with Saga for years and they have always stayed competitively priced without compromising on the quality of products and service it offers. Unfortunately I had to make a claim and didn't know what to expect but they handled it efficiently and smoothly to my satisfaction and I was very pleased with the outcome. No nonsense cover with all the benefits
