Saga provide home insurance policies that can cover buildings only, contents only or both combined.

Saga offers two levels of cover, Saga Plus and Saga Select. With Saga Plus, you can expect to pay the same price for 3 years if there are no changes, even after most types of claim. If you cancel during the year, you won't be charged a cancellation fee.

Great service easy to apply

Saga have been great to deal with. Customer service have been amazing and the application was simple and easy to follow; asking the relevant questions without being obscure. Reviewed on: 21st August 2021

Rip Off

My dad, who was aged 83 at the time first took his home insurance out with Saga in 2013. He saw an increase in 2014 to £283.59. For the next 4 years, his premiums were raised to 362.01, then £422.36, then 496.54 and finally in 2018 to £588.93 all paid by direct debit and by which time he was 88 years old when the final premium was received. I did complain without a satisfying resolution and therefore decided to find him a better deal. To add insult to injury in 2019 he had received an offer for home insurance from Saga for £288. It was always my understanding that the brand Saga stood to assist the elderly and not rip them off. Reviewed on: 20th August 2021

Confidence in the company

Parents are insured with Saga and they and I feel that they are In Safe hands should anything ever happen from an emergency through to an every day accident. Reviewed on: 20th August 2021
