This year, when it was time to renew my annual travel insurance, I was having a medical problem investigated. It was sorted without further treatment being necessary. I rang to renew. The very helpful lady dealing with me backdated my insurance to the original renewal date but gave me a discount for the weeks I had missed Reviewed on: 26th September 2025

Very helpful at difficult time

Unfortunately my husband had a medical diagnosis a few weeks before we were due to travel to the Caribbean for a special holiday and doctors thought it sensible to not travel. The communication I had with Saga staff was very sympathetic and helpful at a difficult time. The help and guidance given was much appreciated. The claim, which was quite substantial, went through seamlessly without any hassle. Saga will always be my first choice. You get what you pay for. Good start hope it continues
