Professional, expert friendly staff

I had to ring about some additional health issues, each time I received excellent customer service from both the Saga call handler and the underwriter who spoke to me concerning one condition. Everything was explained clearly and they ensured they had answered all my questions and provided changes to me cover speedily meeting my new needs. Reviewed on: 15th August 2025

happy to recommend

took out an annual travel policy a year ago - with pre-existing conditions and when had to advise new diagnosed condition/medication a month or so ago, it was easy to update and pay the additional premium. not yet seen how easy/hard it is to renew but as exploring Saga holidays which would have travel insurance included, may wait a while as not travelled at all for holiday since last September. A Very Good Experience

Had cause to use Saga travel insurance whist on holiday in Europe which included a stay in hospital. The re patriation to the UK was well organised with a doctor escort all the way to my front door. The claim for expenses was very straight forward and speedy. Reviewed on: 15th August 2025

Good helpful advice.

I rang up to ask if having an operation would affect my travel insurance. The customer service person was very knowledgable and patiently answered all my questions. She gave me good advice on what I needed to do after the operation i.e. asking for a letter explaining the results which I could then contact the company with to discuss.
