Quick and easy to change to them

I decided to swap to Santander as my old bank wasn't work with me. Made an appointment went to see them, quick and easy to fill paperwork out with and I was worried about all my direct debits but they wrote them down signed the paperwork and within 2 day my information was coming through with new account numbers and dates of change over. All dates were met with all direct debits in the right place at the right time - quick and easy to use so highly recommend Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Great current account

We are very happy with this current account. If it is kept topped up to the maximum it is possible to earn £50 per month interest. Also the cashback on each direct debit mounts up nicely. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Hide charge

I moved our households bill account to santander due to the available offers. Santander offered me an overdraft only small just incase a bill was higher than expected and I took them up on this. They did not explain any charges if I used it. After a couple of months i started to get charges on my account. It turned out it was charged at £1 a day not at a percentage! So if you used it all month it was 30quid for use of £1 in over draft. When I complained they stated it was in the t&cs they posted out. I believe this is something they should add to the telephone spiel. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

I am totally in love with Santander as I brand. I've been a halifax girl since I was born but on buying our first house together, my husband and I decided we needed to grow up and start joint accounting. My husband in particular is not very good at consciously saving, so I decided on the 123 joint current account due to the high saving interest rates but also the huge amounts of cashback to be earnt. By making this simple switch, we've earnt money from shopping and even more from our utility bills and loads from having a santander mortgage as well. I love the app for banking but really really love the Spendalytics app which allows you to see pie charts of when you're actually spending your money on. It's a real eye opener and helped us adjust our spending habits. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Easy Online and Best Interest rates

I have had a Santander 123 account since they first came out and even though they have recently increased the monthly fee I still earn more interest than I would else where. Online facilities are great - never had a problem with them! East to use account.

I needed to visit my branch to pay in cash and had no id with me. I looked up my app on my phone and was able to give them my account details but thought as there was a identification process that needed a card I would have an issue. The staff were helpful and sorted it all for me in just a few minutes. I was so glad as I did not want to carry that amount of cash around. They gave me a copy of the transaction which showed straight away on the app on my phone. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Good account to use everyday but you make less money now

I was making £8 a month using this account and it was £2 a month fee. Now the fee is £5 a month so I am now making £3 a month on my direct debits. I will make the switch as soon as another current account offer catches my eye! Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Have had this account for a while which is used as a savings account rather than a current one because of the high interest it pays. Was better before they increased the monthly fee to £5 but even so is better than all others Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
