Easy as 1,2,3...

The Santander 1,2,3 account has been amazing for the 18 months I have had it. Pays more interest than most savings accounts and allows up to £20k to earn the 3% interest. Would definitely (and already have!) recommended to people! Reviewed on: 30th April 2016

Current account with cashback that's great if you have savings

I've had a Santander 123 current account for a few years now. It gives 3% interest on your balances up to £20,000 and you have instant access. You also get cashback on direct debits for certain bills like utilities and phones. It's great for me because it gives instant access at a better rate than savings accounts. It's the best value cashback current account for people with a few thousand in savings. This deal will be even better now that lower levels of savings interest are not subject to tax. My only complaint would be that the monthly fee went up a few months ago, but it's still worth it for me, and I think it's more that the deal before was just so good. As for service, my affairs are pretty simple and I do most of my banking online. Never had a problem with them. Reviewed on: 26th April 2016

Excellent Product

Set up 123 account very easily and it now pays me over £100/year interest more than I was getting before. The best thing is that you don't have to switch all your direct debits, just two of them. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2016

pays great interest on up to £20,000

pays great interest on up to £20,000, the £5 fee is almost negated by the cash back I get on some bills. Can't be beaten at the moment. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2016

Fantastic

Love using the 123 current account, great that you can get cashback on your everyday bills that you would be paying for anyway! Also good if you combine with the 123 credit card, as you can get cashback on your everyday purchases! Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Best interest rate for a current account

I love using my santander account, as you get cashback on normal day to day bills. Also, the fact that the interest rate is better than most savings or ISA accounts, especially if you save more. You never have to move your money to get the best rate around. Okay, there is a £5 fee but this is outweighed by the cashback you get. Just got £3 back for shopping with Morrisons last week! Great interest rate

It took me a while to sort out the direct debits as you need to have 2 before you start getting interest but the lady at the bank was incredibly helpful and I'm now getting a lot of interest on this account. Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Read Carefully

I have had the Santander 123 Current account for several years.It originally cost £2 a month and with direct debuts going out on certain bills I managed to make about £5 so £3 in profit.Santander have now increased the monthly fee to £5 no change in services to warrant this and not a great deal of notice to be able to arrange another account for wages and bills to go in and out off.Just think of all the money they are making for doing exactly the same job Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
