Complicated

The rewards weren't worth the effort expended to earn them but also the criteria for earning the rewards were complicated, and the bank wasn't easy to deal with Reviewed on: 19th March 2023

Good starter account

I have had no problem with Santander and their mobile app is fine Reviewed on: 18th March 2023

Discounts are acceptable, let down by response to problems.

If their ‘security’ suspects a breach, they ‘block’ your account, stop paying direct debits - and don’t even tell you!. Sorting it out becomes a major problem, and your credit rating takes a shock. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Best account for bills

This account, alongside the newly introduced Santander Edge Current Account is the best account on the market for paying bills, specifically by direct debit. These accounts are the only ones currently on offer with ant institution that offer this service making them a must-have for pretty much anyone. I would strongly recommend them. A decent bank account

It pays for itself in terms of the cash back vs the fee, and it’s easy to use with a good app. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

So easy!

Highly recommend the Santander current account. The online banking website and app are both so easy to use. Great communication via texts for overdrafts etc. absolutely seamless. Reviewed on: 15th March 2023
