Good overall service

Safe, secure, efficient

Santander's 123 account remains a good all round current account. It's true that it's interest earning rate is lower than when it started, but the account remains safe to use, secure from fraudsters, and Customer Service remains good. I think that the same can be said for all services and products that Santander provides. Reviewed on: 14th March 2023

Easy Switch, Cashback and High Yield Savings

For me, switching to Santander for their £200 bonus was a no brainer, but once I realized how their features compared with those of my previous Barclays account I knew I'd switch even without the bonus. The process was quick and easy and the team have been great. Reviewed on: 14th March 2023

Simple switch to online banking

Some banks are awful to switch to - naming no names - but Santander were great and their security are really good at giving advice when transferring money. We are happy to bank with them. Reviewed on: 12th March 2023

Worst bank ever, AVOID!

Worst bank ever, do not use their services. Went to a branch to deposit a cheque, they told me to go and do it on the app. Went to the app it does not read my check. Chatted to support they told me to contact customer service. Called customer service they told me I had to go to the branch. AVOID! Reviewed on: 12th March 2023

Reliable and good offers

Been with Santander for a few years. Make a reasonable amounts from the cashback and other offers on the 123 account and credit card. They fraud team is very good (sometimes too good - which can be frustrating - but alwats easy to resolve and I feel confident my money is safe) Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Reliable

I've been with this bank for a long time (I think since the Leeds closed) and they have been consistently good for the whole time. The interest rates are good and with the current account you can link to lots of other savings and credit accounts. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Great value 123 Account

The interest paid on a current balance up to £20000 is regularly updated. Recent increases in the bank rate have been passed on to account holders with admirable speed. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Excellent bank account with benefits

I have had my Santander 123 account many years, in fact since it started. It is a great bank account you can access via app or mobile, laptop or desktop. The benefits are that each month Santander pay you a percentage for having your mortgage direct debit with them also council tax, utilities and phone. As long as you have monthly direct set up and have your wages paid directly into account. If that is not good enough you also receive interest on your balance up to £20000. It only costs £3 a month and i have made hundreds of pounds back over the years. Santander the bank that gives you something back. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
